i have the 17.5†O2-Lite on a 18†AR10 setup & it looks impressive. removing the old hand guard & gas block was the hardest part in my circumstance. install of the O2 Lite & 2.06†adapter onto my DPMS “high profile†receiver was a piece of cake. after i got the gas tube aligned within, i tightened the barrel nut with a crescent wrench & hooked up a new adjustable gas block. my weapon looks so dang sexy now. part sexy, part BEAST. too bad that i can’t post a couple of pictures. everybody would be sold on these rails if they could see what i’m working with now. i love it.
PS a crows foot wrench is not required to torque the barrel nut. a good size adjustable wrench will do. if you really wanted to invest money on gun smith tools, a reaction rod aka torque rod is probably your best bet. i don’t have 1 but to properly torque & loosen barrel nuts & muzzle devices the reaction rod is called for.
